Exhaustion.
What does this word bring up for you? Its an extremely juicy inquiry if you give it some airtime.. Are you constantly on the go? Do you wake up in the morning and wish you had another 2 hours to rest? We are programmed in this society not to stop, and on top of that, life will ALWAYS give us things to fill our days with if we are just saying YES to everything. Always being busy with something, or with someone, or a tablet or a phone, is a disease of sorts - it creates a Dis-Ease in our being, because when we really drop into all the frequencies of being rushed, busy and ‘not having enough time’, thats really what we are doing to ourselves, we’re not at ease with life… Ease is where our real flow lies. Life wants us to be at ease so it can flow with us and through us, but we’re simply too busy to even start to tap into the potential of whats possible in those higher frequencies because of too much constant action. Where could you give yourself a bit more time and space? Are there any relationships that can be cut out in order to plug the consequent energy leaks that are happening? Are you getting enough alone time? Are you giving yourself permission to shut out the world and come back to your own centre? If we’re doing too much, all the time, and our energy is locked into too many ‘fillers’ in our day, when things that we really want to do come along, the energy that we have to engage with these things isn’t fully there, and we don’t have enough in the tank to fully commit and follow thru in the way that we potentially could… Everything gets dispersed… Dispersion of our energies makes us weak, and the things we do tend to be tinged with half-heartedness (half-arsedness) because we don’t have the energy stocks to burn on the correct things. We just jump, or flop, from thing to thing to thing, but we need to look at the quality of whats getting done, how efficient we are at these tasks and where we’re committing our energy… What in your life exhausts you? What are you doing that can just be let go of? Are you able to stop completely, switch off and completely relax, without any external stimulation? The shadow of exhaustion runs deep. Super deep.. Super - maybe you might slip into a bit of denial around it - deep! How do you feel in your being right now? Stop for two minutes, shut your eyes, take some breaths and just check in to see how you feel when you stop, stop everything completely… ….If “not now” or “yeah maybe later”, just popped up for you, watch THAT!!! Seriously…. Do it. What happens… Do you start to yawn? Let a couple of big sighs out? You may realise how much momentum has built up, even if you haven’t really been doing anything ‘too stressful’… Life does not want us running around like headless chickens. It wants us to rest more, relax, and flow, with ease…. Resolve today, and throughout this week to have a look at your busy-ness, your habits, how many times a day you pause and take a few deep breaths, what busy-deadwood you can possibly cut out of your life, and you’ll perhaps begin to bring in some deeper unwinding and sweet ease within the being that it has been screaming out for for quite a while… Whats really, really important to you? And whats instantly expendable? It’s worth a look. InJoy :) Comments are closed.
